Signup & Login
If you're new to the site, signing up with Poliigon is as simple as navigating to https://www.poliigon.com/register. We recommend utilizing the integrated Google or Facebook signup for ease of use. If you wish to use the email signup, you'll be prompted to enter your email address and a password, after which a confirmation email will be sent to your address. Navigate to your email, find our mail (please be sure to check spam, junk, or shopping folders), and click the "Confirm" button to bring you back to the site.
You're all set! Feel free to look around, or better yet, subscribe to one of our plans.
I didn't receive a confirmation email, how do I complete the signup process?
Please visit the login page and enter your credentials. You'll be prompted to re-send the confirmation email. If you're still not receiving the mail, please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I'm unable to sign up / log in. I receive an error message, or the site is unresponsive, what do I do?
If the website hangs or is unresponsive, or you receive an error message when trying to sign up or log in, we recommend you first try a different web browser. If the issue persists, please email email@example.com, being sure to include any relevant information such as the exact error message you received. Including a screenshot is also helpful.
If you receive a message notifying you that your credentials are in use, you've likely signed up already, but never confirmed your account. Visit the login page and enter your credentials, you'll be prompted to re-send the confirmation mail.
You can reach your account dashboard, or by navigating to the drop down from the user icon at the top right, and selecting "My Account". This is where you can manage important information such as your selected plan, your payment methods, and billing address.
Your Subscription Plan
You can get a quick view of your asset balance at the top of the dashboard page. Your balance is also displayed at the top right of the page, no matter where you are on the site.
If you're subscribed to one of our plans, you'll find your plan information located here. The name of your plan is displayed, as well as the renewal date, and price (per month or year).
Please note that the renewal date is in UTC so the actual date may be a day before/after depending on your location.
Updating Your Subscription Plan
You may find that the subscription plan you signed up for awards more assets than you need, or alternatively, you've run out and need more. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan by selecting the blue Update Plan button. A popup will appear, where you can: select your plan > select edit subscription > select change > select your desired plan > then finally select update subscription. The popup will inform you when the changes to your plan will take effect, either immediately, or on your next renewal date.

Pausing Your Subscription Plan
You may find that you have enough assets for the time being, and don't want to pay for more, but you want to avoid cancelling so you don't lose your existing asset balance.
Users can now Pause their subscription for up to 3 months at a time. Pausing your subscription will suspend payments, but will also prevent you from purchasing assets. This can be done by navigating to Cancel Subscription. You'll get a popup, where you can select your pause duration from a drop-down > and finally select pause for X months. Users can un-pause their subscription at any time.
Please note that the Pause period won't take effect until your next renewal date.
Poliigon Support cannot extend pause durations, so if you wish to pause your subscription for longer than 3 months, you'll have to let the subscription renew, and then initiate another pause, which will take effect on your next renewal date.
Cancelling Your Subscription Plan
If you wish to cancel your subscription for any reason, you can do so from your account dashboard. Simply select Cancel Subscription, located under the blue Update Plan button. You'll get a popup, where you can select Continue to Cancel > and then Continue to finalize the cancellation.
It's important to note that cancelling your subscription won't take effect immediately, rather, the action sets your subscription to non-renewing, and what was previously your renewal date becomes the termination date. This allows users to spend their remaining asset balance up until the subscription terminates. We strongly recommend you do this, as any unused asset balance remaining on your account will expire at the time of termination.
Please note that refunds aren't provided automatically for cancellations. If you want to request a refund please see our refund policy.
Billing and Payments
In this section you can add and edit payment options, your billing address, as well as access previous invoices.
Clicking the pencil icon next to Payment Information will open a popup where you can enter your desired payment methods to save for future use.
We accept payment via Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay, American Express, JCB and PayPal. Please note that our PayPal account is set up in Australia, so some regional restrictions may apply.
It's a good idea to add both a primary and backup payment method, that way if the primary fails for any reason, your subscription will remain active.
Clicking the pencil icon next to Addresses will open a popup where you can enter your desired billing information. This includes VAT if applicable for your business.
This information will be displayed on your invoices, so if you're operating on behalf of a business and need to retain invoices for accounting, you'll want to make sure this information is entered prior to making a purchase.
Clicking the pencil icon next to My Invoices will open a popup where you can view and download all past invoices.
Please note that if you're exempt from VAT, but made a purchase before entering this information, we're unable to modify existing invoices to include your VAT ID. You'll need to enter it in the section above, and it will then appear as expected on future invoices.

How do I delete my account?
We're looking to build this functionality into the site, but currently users must contact email@example.com from the email address associated with their account to initiate an account deletion request.
Updating Account Credentials
Navigate to your account page by hovering over the user icon at the top right of the home page, and selecting My Account, then select My Details on the left hand side of the page. You'll find entries to change both your email and password.
If you update your email address, you'll be logged out automatically until you confirm your new address. Navigate to your mail, and find the confirmation mail we sent to the new address to access your account again.
If you've lost access to your account and want to retrieve your login or password, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that for security purposes, you must contact us by email, from the address you believe to be associated with the account. If this isn't possible for any reason, please reach out to the address above and we may be able to locate your account by other means.
Website Download Settings
This page can be reached by hovering over the user icon at the top right of the home page, and selecting Download Settings
If your work tends to be restricted to a certain software package, and it's supported by us, you can select it from the dropdown, so your downloads will work more seamlessly. We also offer a generic .fbx download which should work in most software packages.

Your Purchased Assets
This page can be reached by hovering over the user icon at the top right of the home page, and selecting My Assets
If you purchased an asset, it will be visible in this view. Assets remain yours to download indefinitely, regardless of subscription status.
Occasionally we will unpublish assets that we don't feel meet our current standards. If you've purchased an asset that's been unpublished, and were struggling to locate it by navigating to it manually in the grid view, it should remain visible in this section, as expected.
