How Unlimited plans work

Understanding Unlimited Plans and the Fair Use policy

Updated over a month ago

Poliigon's Unlimited plans are designed to give you the freedom to try out lots of assets without worrying about download counts.

With Unlimited you can enjoy:

  1. Access to the entire library of premium and free assets.

  2. Commercial license for every asset, even after your subscription ends.

  3. Browser & Plugin Downloading (Blender, 3ds Max and Cinema 4D).

But there are some key differences to Unlimited plans vs a fixed-download plan:

  1. Assets downloaded with an Unlimited plan are not saved to your My assets page, and are not available for re-download when your subscription ends.

  2. If you cancel your Unlimited subscription, our addons and plugins available for Blender, 3ds Max, and Cinema 4D will no longer allow you to re-import premium assets.

Unlimited Fair Use Policy

Unlimited plans are designed to let you download all the assets you could reasonably need for production.

However, we do not permit any mirroring of large portions of the library for local storage. If we detect a pattern of unusually high amounts of downloading, you will first receive a notification that new downloads have been restricted for up to 7-days. But if excessive usage continues, access to your account may be revoked without warning.

What is allowed:

  1. Downloading of any assets via the website or plugins, that you intend to use immediately

  2. Storing those assets locally to quickly reuse in production

What is not allowed:

  1. Attempts to mirror large portions of the library for local storage.

  2. Any scripts or bots to automate downloads.

  3. Re-downloading of those assets once your subscription ends.

We strive to provide a fair and transparent experience, but we can make mistakes. If you believe your account was unfairly limited, please contact our support team at support@poliigon.com or use the chat window at the bottom right.
