Password reset for Third Party Login users

This article instructs users who signed up with a connected login how to resolve password issues

If you signed up to Poliigon using a third party login such as Google or Facebook, you won't have created a password.

If your credentials or the state of your email has changed and you find yourself unable to log in manually because you don't have a password, you can utilize the password reset feature:

  1. Navigate to the Login page, the select 'Login with Email', then select 'Forgot Password'. You'll be prompted to enter your email address.

  2. You'll receive a confirmation email to that address, containing a link to select a new password. You can now login using your newly created password.

  3. If you're having trouble finding the confirmation email, be sure to check spam or junk folders

If you've tried the steps above and are still experiencing issues, please contact our support team:

  • Include the following information in your email:

    • Your username or account email

    • Description of the issue

    • Your operating system and version

      • Windows: Press Windows key + R, type "winver" and press Enter

      • Mac: Click Apple menu > About This Mac

      • Linux: Open Terminal and type "lsb_release -a" or "cat /etc/os-release"

    • Your browser and version

      • Chrome/Edge/Opera: Menu (three dots) > Help > About

      • Firefox: Menu (three lines) > Help > About Firefox

      • Safari: Safari menu > About Safari

    • Console log screenshot (if possible)

      • Press F12 or right-click > Inspect > Console tab while on the problematic page

      • Take a screenshot showing any errors (red text)

    • Steps you've already taken to resolve the issue
