How to import Poliigon Models into Substance Painter
To import models into Substance Painter, first choose .fbx as your download format from Poliigon.
Go to File > New
In the New Project window, click the ‘Select’ button next to ‘File’ and find the .fbx file you downloaded from Poliigon.
Set the 'Normal Map Format' to OpenGL to match Poliigon’s rules. If needed, you can invert it in your layer stack for your destination software.
Select any other relevant settings for your particular project.

How to import Poliigon PBR Textures into Substance Painter
Go to File > Import Resources
In the pop-up, select "Add Resources."
Select the desired maps in the unzipped materials folder you downloaded from Poliigon.
Click on the ‘Undefined’ text next to each map, and select the correct asset type (texture).
To easily locate your imported files in the ‘Asset’ window.
How to import Poliigon HDRIs into Substance Painter
Go to File > Import Resources
In the pop-up, select "Add Resources."
Select the desired HDRI in the unzipped folder you downloaded from Poliigon.
Click on the ‘Undefined’ text next to each map, and select the correct asset type (environment).
Click on ‘Display Settings’
Click on the current HDRI in the ‘Environment Slot,' then select your imported HDRI from the list.
